During Anime Expo 2026, the staff behind the Anime Stage multimedia project have announced that an anime adaptation is in development. Currently, no details about the staff, cast, studio, or release window are known.

Next year, a 3D LIVE performance will take place, titled “3D LIVE ALIEN STAGE Museum in 2372.” It will debut as a world tour with locations set for Seoul, Tokyo, and Los Angeles. The staff revealed that “The highly distinctive characters will descend into the real world through cutting-edge 3DCG technology.” General director VIVINOS, animation director QMENG and producer KANG created the ALIEN STAGE project, which debuted on YouTube in 2022. The franchise has amassed more than 3 million YouTube subscribers and over 950,000 followers on X/Twitter. It has become a global hit through both its music videos and serialized story.

MyAnimeList has more details about the series’ story, which you can check out below:

Humans once lived like Earth was the center of the universe. Some people embraced religion and believed that God would deliver them from suffering. After humanity was enslaved by aliens, no one spoke of God any longer.

Now the grim truth is that humans are mere property of aliens. Recently, entering pet humans into the entertainment industry has become popular, and the biggest, most thrilling spectacle is known as Alien Stage. In this reality singing competition, alien sponsors flaunt their investments, while human contestants must battle to survive. No matter the relationship between opponents—whether it is love, hate, or something more extreme—only one victor can emerge each round.
