Arc System Works has announced that a new guest character will release for Guilty Gear Strive in winter 2026. The identity of the character is currently unknown.
So far, the only guest character that has released in Strive is Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Considering the upcoming release of Edgerunners 2, its possible the character could originate from there. Additionally, its also possible the character could be from a different fighting game franchise, or one that has never been represented in a game before. Either way, it seems likely that Arc System Works will reveal the character during EVO France 2026 in October.
Recently, Arc System Works added Robo-Ky to Guilty Gear Strive on July 2. He released alongside Guilty Gear Strive Blazing Pass Duel 2 Ennui Protocol, which includes rewards such as a skin for Ky’s weapon Thunderseal (Holy Order) and Haunted Version colors. It will also feature a Queen Dizzy outfit. Further, players will also be able to freely set tracks played in-game with music playlists.
Lastly, Guilty Gear Strive is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows. Here’s an overview of the game, via Steam:
