Here U Are Web Comic is Getting an Anime Adaptation

The Crunchyroll Showcase at Anime Expo 2026 announced an anime adaptation for the web comic Here U Are by D JUN. It is currently in production and will stream on Crunchyroll, with a trailer released at the showcase.

Rouseact is producing the series, with Tomoe Makino directing, Aiki Kawamura handling series composition, Asami Hayakawa as character designer, and Shinya Kiyozuka working on the music. Yuki Inoue will voice Yang Yu, and Ryota Suzuki will voice Huan Li. A release date has not been revealed yet.

D JUN’s web comic ran from 2017-2020 and is available on WEBTOON, with Alola Press releasing the English version. It describes the first volume as follows:

Sophomore Yu Yang is a real treasure. He has a cheerful, easy-going, and emphatic personality. Seniors look up to him, and he knows how to stand up for himself. Freshman Li Huan is moody and taciturn, haughty and, at times, outright rude. How will these two manage to get along, and where will it lead them..?
