The official website for Unmei no Makimodo Shi – Fate Rewinder, the TV anime adaptation of Fūta Kimura’s Unmei no Makimodo Shi – All Great Achievements Require Time manga, confirmed the anime’s April 2027 premiere on TV Asahi’s “ImAnimation” programming block. The cast and staff of the Fate Rewinder were also revealed, and Crunchyroll confirmed that it will be streaming the series.
The cast includes:
- Shō Komura as Chrono
- Kōki Uchiyama as Shirai
- Kōhei Amasaki as Akaba
- Reina Ueda as Lemon
Rie Matsumoto directs the anime at studio Bones Film. Kimiko Ueno is in charge of series composition. Satoshi Murai is composing the music, and Story Inc. is credited for production.
Kimura launched the manga in Shogakukan’s Coro Coro Comics magazine in January 2022, and the manga would go on to be nominated in the 69th Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2023. The 12th compiled book volume was released on April 28, and the manga’s first volume will release this October via publisher Yen Press.
