Pony Canyon has announced that it is developing an anime adaptation of the Witch and Hound light novel from Kamitsuki Rainy. The first teaser for the anime has released.
The staff of the anime includes the following:

- Series’ Scripts – Kamitsuki Rainy and Jun Tsukida

Kamitsuki Rainy launched the light novel series with illustrations from LAM in October 2020. They published it under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko light novel label. The sixth novel volume shipped in December 2024. Additionally, the manga adaptation from Minori Tsukahara is available to read on Square Enix’s MANGA UP! website. Yen Press will publish the manga’s first volume in English, which describes it as follows:

Lastly, the release date for the Witch and Hound anime is currently unknown. More details about the premiere and cast will likely surface at a later date.
