The staff for the Bananya franchise has announced that a new anime and mobile game will release to commemorate its 10th anniversary. The anime will release on July 10, while the mobile game will release for iOS and Android summer.
The first video for the anime showcases its theme song “Nyan-derful☆Nyan-derland” by TAMAchan. Its story centers on a kitten that woke up in an unfamiliar world full of Bananya creatures, and realizes that the kitten itself has also turned into a Bananya. Together with the others, the kitten must go on a journey across forests and mountains to find a little Bananya’s lost shiny treasure. Yūki Kaji will voice Bananya, Ayumu Murase voices Baby Sweet, Atsumi Tanezaki plays Nora Bananya, Yuina Itō plays Chibi Bananya, and Toshiyuki Morikawa will voice Noppo Bananya.
