WIT Studio has announced a new anime titled LONA, or Laboratory of Optics and Neural Analysis, which will premiere in spring 2027. The first trailer, key art, and cast details for the anime have also released.

Recently, Netflix released the official teaser trailer for WIT Studio’s upcoming The One Piece anime remake ahead of its February 2027 premiere. As previously announced, the first episode of The One Piece will be titled “Romance Dawn,” and there will be 7 total episodes dropping at once on Netflix. Masashi Koizuka directs the anime at WIT Studio, and Hideaki Abe is the assistant director. Kyoji Asano and Takatoshi Honda are the character designers and chief animation directors.
