Konami has released the free “Crimson Butterfly” DLC costume for Silent Hill f in collaboration with Koei Tecmo’s FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE. Players can equip the Crimson Butterfly costume on Hinako by accessing a Hokora in the Silent Hill f and selecting Change Costume from the menu. The FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE costume DLC is available to all players who own Silent Hill f, and patch 1.20 or later is required to use the costume.

Similarly, a free Silent Hill f costume DLC is already available now for FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE. The free DLC adds the Navy Sailor School Uniform, allowing players to change protagonist Mio’s appearance to that of Hinako. The DLC also brough the Fox Mask accessory for Mio and Mayu.

FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE launched on March 12 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game is a full remake of the second installment in the FATAL FRAME (PROJECT ZERO) series, following the story of twin sisters Mio and Mayu. The two sisters reach an abandoned village infested with wraiths, and the only way to survive is through the use of Camera Obscura.

Silent Hill f is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows, and GOG. Since launch, the game has already received an official novelization by author Shiro Kuro in Japan, and a new manga is in the works. The staff of Silent Hill f includes producer Motoi Okamoto, scriptwriter Ryukishi07, composers Akira Yamaoka and Kensuke Inage, and character and creature designer kera. Suzie Yeung stars as Hinako in the English dub.

Final Weapon previously reviewed Silent Hill f and gave it a 4.5 out of 5 score, noting that the game’s story is “told wonderfully and manages to convey its themes with the right amount of care, thanks to some great writing and the arc of its protagonist, Shimizu Hinako. Further, the combat-focused gameplay turned out to be surprisingly addictive, while still managing to be tense thanks to some great monster designs.”
