Square Enix has announced that a Final Fantasy VII Revelation panel will be held at PAX West 2026 in the main theater of the Seattle Convention Center on September 5 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET. Game director Naoki Hamaguchi and battle director Teruki Endo will be present at the Final Fantasy VII Revelation panel to share more insights into the game, and the panel will be livestreamed.
Square Enix also confirmed that a “new look” at Final Fantasy VII Revelation with director Naoki Hamaguchi will be revealed at the Opening Night Live showcase for Gamescom 2026. Gamescom Opening Night Live will begin on August 25 at 11:00 a.m. PDT / 2:00 p.m. EDT, and it will be streamed live on YouTube, Twitch, and other participating platforms.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation will launch in spring 2027 on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. players with save data from Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will get bonuses in the game, including Summoning Materia: Chocobo & Moogle and Summoning Materia: Phoenix.
Before Final Fantasy VII Revelation arrives, fans can catch up with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. Final Weapon reviewed the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and gave it a 4.5/5 score, noting that this version is “a very impressive port that brings one of the generation’s best RPGs to Nintendo’s new console in great form.” A free demo is also available in the Nintendo eShop and Microsoft Store.
