Valve has announced that the Steam Machine will start shipping to select users on June 30, and that the base version will cost $1,049. Four versions will be available, two of which with a controller included, and two with 2 TB built in.
The prices for all Steam Machine versions are as follows:
- 512 GB – $1,049
- 512 GB With Controller – $1,128
- 2 TB – $1,349
- 2 TB With Controller – $1,428
Both 2 TB versions also come with extra faceplates. The specs of the version are:

- 16GB DDR5 + 8GB GDDR6 VRAM

Much like with the Steam Deck, players hoping to purchase the Steam Machine will need to join a waiting list. The results are randomized, and as such, there’s no way of knowing which owners will receive the console in the coming weeks.
