Konami has shared an update regarding the release schedule for the upcoming Suikoden STAR LEAP mobile game, revealing that it will be a staggered launch. Gamers in Japan will see the release of Suikoden STAR LEAP first on Android and iOS, followed by a worldwide launch on mobile and a subsequent release on Steam. A release date was not announced yet.

Thank you for all your support for the Suikoden series.
We sincerely apologize that we are not yet ready to give an update regarding the release date for Suikoden STAR LEAP. However, we have confirmed the release order regarding regions and platforms, and would like to at least share that info with you.
Regarding the release date of each versions, we will make gradual announcements for the following versions once the prior version is released.
The release order will be as follows:

- iOS/Android for Japan
- iOS/Android for Global
- Worldwide Steam ver. (incl. Japan)
- Some countries/regions will not be included in the Global ver.

STAR LEAP is an entirely new Suikoden game, expected to be an addition to the wide universe and deep history already woven together by the colorful cast of characters and species that reside in the Suikoden universe, ever since the 27 True Runes came to be. Our entire team is hard at work to unravel unwritten history, breathing life into a new cast of characters, and gathering together an expansive amount of knowledge and information about the world so that we can deliver a comprehensive, exciting experience to you with this game.
We also believe that optimizing the game for each platform, and allowing stress-free access from players across multiple regions requires attention to detail and careful preparation. Our gradual release plan reflects these considerations, and we will continue to work on developing the game so that we may be able to share the release dates as early as possible, while also making sure to deliver the best possible experience to you. Fans can catch up with the Suikoden Star Leap: Trails of the Stars manga, which is being serialized in English on Kadokawa’s Comic Walker website. The Suikoden: The Anime series will also premiere in October 2026.
