Konami has revealed a new key visual and more cast members for the Suikoden: The Anime during the anime’s AnimeJapan 2026 stage event.
The new cast members include:
- Jun Kasama as Kurgan
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Seed
- Megumi Han as Leknaat
- Shota Hayama as Gengen
- Ryunosuke Watanuki as Rikimaru
- Saya Niimi as Rina
- Mizutama Umino as Eilie
- Yusuke Sasaki as Bolgan
Suikoden: The Anime will premiere in October 2026.
The previously announced cast members for Suikoden: The Anime include:

- Chika Anzai as Jillia Bright
- Akihiro Mine as Rowd
- Tsukino Chikasada as Pilika
- Ayumu Murase as Luc
- Takeo Otsuka as Shu
- Yoshino Aoyama as Apple
- Masato Niwa as Mukumuku
- Toshiki Kumagai as Riliu
- Shimba Tsuchiya as Jowy
- Ayumi Hinohara as Nanami
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Viktor
- Yuichi Nakamura as Flik
Yūzō Satō directs Suikoden: The Anime at Konami animation. NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan anime and music production department member Ryō Hino is the anime’s producer and production manager. Michihiro Tsuchiya oversees the series scripts.

- Toshiki Kumagai as Riliu
- Shimba Tsuchiya as Jowy
- Ayumi Hinohara as Nanami
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Victor
- Yūichi Nakamura as Flik
Fumi Ishikawa is the game character designer, and Arata Suzuki is credited for the original drafts of the anime character designs. What’s more, Ryō Yamauchi is the anime character designer. Yoshikazu Iwanami is the sound director, and Kōji Nakamura is composing the music.
Aki Shimizu’s Suikoden Star Leap: Trails of the Stars manga is being serialized in English on Kadokawa’s Comic Walker website. Shimizu previously worked on the Suikoden III manga, and she is also working on the ongoing The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei manga series.
The Suikoden: Star Leap mobile game is coming soon to Android, iOS, and PC via Steam. The new game features gacha elements and events, but the new title retains the Suikoden franchise’s signature combat system. Out of 108 stars, players can assemble a “dream team” of their favorite Suikoden heroes for battle.
