TV Tokyo has announced that Black Clover Season 2 will premiere in October 2026. Ayataka Tanemura, the director of episodes 153-170 of Black Clover and the Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King film, will direct Season 2. Tanemura will attend an Anime Expo 2026 panel alongside Asta voice actor Gakuto Kajiwara.
Black Clover Season 2 will stream on Crunchyroll, and studio Pierrot will continue to animate the series.
The main cast of Black Clover Season 2 includes:

- Junichi Suwabe as Yami Sukehiro
- Kana Yuki as Noelle Silva
- Hiro Shimono as Nacht Faust
A total of 170 episodes were released for the Black Clover anime from October 2017 to March 2021. The Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King anime film premiered on June 16, 2023 worldwide. Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King released on November 30, 2023 as a free-to-play mobile RPG, but it will be ending service on August 21, 2025.
In August 2023, author Yuki Tabata confirmed the Black Clover manga was leaving Shonen Jump and switching to Jump Giga. The manga would continue to receive manga chapters semi-regularly with hiatuses in-between. The Black Clover series is complete with 392 chapters.
