Nintendo has announced that it will hold a new Nintendo Direct on June 9 at 7 AM PDT, 10 AM EDT, and 3 PM GMT. The direct will last 50 minutes.
Immediately after the direct, a 95-minute Treehouse will take place, dedicated to new looks at upcoming games. While Nintendo has not yet revealed what games it will focus on, it’s likely that it will be a major direct which will primarily focus on games releasing in the second half of 2026. The Direct will undoubtedly show new looks at Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, Rhythm Heaven Groove, and Splatoon Raiders. Further, if previous leaks are any indication, we will see a reveal for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. Check out the announcement post for the Nintendo Direct below:
Last week, during Summer Game Fest, several third-party games were confirmed to release on Nintendo Switch 2 upon launch. Some of these include Rayman Legends: Retold, Resident Evil Veronica, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Spyro: A Realm Beyond, and more. Additionally, on August 28, Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will finally release for the Nintendo Switch 2. In the meantime, the next major first-party game from Nintendo is Star Fox. The game will release on June 25, and pre-orders for Star Fox are available now in the Nintendo eShop for $49.99 digitally and $59.99 physically at retail and My Nintendo.
