Nintendo has announced that Splatoon Raiders will release for Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, alongside three new amiibo for the game. It will be the first single-player-focused entry in the franchise.

In Splatoon Raiders, you play as an engineer working alongside the Deep Cut Trio (Shiver, Frye, and Big Man). After customizing your character, you will journey across the Spirhalite Islands in search of treasure. Along the way, you’ll unlock new weapons, upgrade your abilities, and gain gadgets such as a melee attack and Big Man as a rideable mount. Currently, specific story details about the game are unknown, though it will feature the return of the Salmonids. However, alongside its launch, three new amiibo depicting the Deep Cut Trio will release. Further, it will release as a proper cartridge rather than a game-key cart.

Enter 4-on-4 ink-slinging battles in this colorful action shooter packed with style and attitude. As a squid-like Inkling, quickly cover your surroundings (and opponents) in ink with wild weaponry and swim through your own color to sneak and splat. Dive into the fresh fun with family and friends and make waves as a team. Get splatted by an opponent? No sweat! The goal in Turf War is to cover the most ground, so respawn and jump back into the inky action.
