Xbox has announced that its upcoming Xbox Game Showcase and Gears of War: E-Day Direct on June 7 will stream on Amazon Live and Prime Video on Fire TV for the first time for US viewers. It will also be available to watch on YouTube, Twitch, and other services.
The Xbox Games Showcase will air at 10am PT (1pm ET, 6pm BST) on YouTube, Twitch (including an ASL version), Facebook, and Steam. For the first time, viewers in the US will be able to watch via Amazon Live or Prime TV. Different versions for other regions will stream simultaneously, including on Bilibili for Chinese audiences. Xbox added these details on language support:
The languages we will support live on our XBOX channels are: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Mexican Spanish and Turkish. Following the broadcast, we will add additional languages including Afrikaans, Arabic, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Filipino, Finnish, Canadian French, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Malay, Norwegian, Persian (Farsi), Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Swahili, Swedish, Thai, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. The easiest way to find your preferred language is to go to your region’s XBOX page, or by viewing on the official XBOX YouTube channel at YouTube.com/xbox and clicking the gear icon in the lower right corner.
During the showcase, Xbox will focus on showcasing news on its upcoming first-party games, as well as titles from its third-party partners. It’s possible this may include new looks at Fable, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Persona 4 Revival. Afterwards, a 30-minute direct focused entirely on Gears of War: E-Day will take place and feature new looks at it’s gameplay, story, and maybe even a release date.
