Smilegate and Super Creative have released a new update for dark fantasy roguelike RPG Chaos Zero Nightmare featuring the new Galactic Disaster Season 3 story “A Girl’s Nightmare.” The newly added story serves as the second chapter of Season 3 “A Song Rippling Through the Stars.” putting players in the middle of an investigation aboard the SS Edenity with secrets surrounding Adelheid.
Adelheid will be available as a new Vanguard-class Combatant with the Void attribute. She grants “Blessing” to allied cards and gains Shield, and Partner Clara will also be available. Clara can increase her assigned Combatant’s Defense and grant Fixed Heal when a card with the Blessing effect is used.
The update also marks the beginning of the first half of “The Great Rift” and the opening of the 2nd Supply Store. The Great Rift no longer restricts usage to current season Save Data, and using Seasonal Save Data also grants additional score bonuses. Season 2 of the Full-Scale Offensive is also live, allowing players to form three teams to take down bosses and earn rewards like Crystals and growth currency.
A number of different quality of life improvements were also implemented, including enhancements to special effects in Sortie and the introduction of Auto-Combat for Chaos gameplay. Smilegate will also host various events, such as “Sortie Support” through June 22. More details can be found at the official blog post.
At Anime Expo 2026, Smilegate will be showcasing Chaos Zero Nightmare and Miresi: The Invisible Future with interactive events, giveaways, and cosplay activities. Miresi: The Invisible Future will also have a playable demo zone where attendees can experience the game for the first time.
Lastly, Chaos Zero Nightmare is available now for Android via Google Play, iOS via App Store, and PC via STOVE.
