Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games have announced that Forza Horizon 6 surpassed 6 million players worldwide just a few days after its global launch on May 19. 6 million players have played Forza Horizon 6 since its early access launch on May 15.
Forza Horizon 6 launched on May 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Windows (Microsoft Store) and Steam. A PlayStation 5 version is set to release at a later date, and Forza Horizon 6 is available with Xbox Game Pass as well. With cross-play and cross-saves, Forza Horizon 6 players will be able to play together on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S while continuing their progress on whichever versions of the game they own.
There will be more than 600 real cars and several new features from launch, including touge battles and multiplayer CoLab. As previously announced, the game is set in Japan, with Tokyo as its main destination. Tokyo is the largest urban area ever featured in the Forza Horizon series. Players have access to several high-profile race cars and street vehicles, including the 2024 Nissan GT-R Nismo, 2021 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR Pro 4 Truck, 2025 GR GT Prototype and 1995 Porsche 911 GT2.
A new Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller and Headset are also available. The Xbox Wireless Controller – Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition ($89.99) and Xbox Wireless Headset – Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition are available for purchase at Microsoft Store, Amazon, Best Buy, and other participating tech retailers.
