Bandai Namco has announced that pre-registration is now open for Digimon UP, a new free-to-play Digimon mobile game focusing on “a Digimon journey that moves with your life.” Digimon UP will release in 2026 for Android via Google Play and iOS via App Store, and all players will receive Gekkomon for free by reaching a pre-registration total of 100,000 players.

Bandai Namco and Media.Vision also announced a major DLC expansion for Digimon Story Time Stranger is coming in 2027. According to producer Ryosuke Hara, development of the Digimon Story Time Stranger expansion is underway, and Aegiomon voice actor Mutsumi Tamura will be working with the team once more. When asked about the story taking place in a parallel world or the future, Hara noted that this question was from an “excellent line of reasoning.”
