Bandai Namco Entertainment is celebrating PAC-MAN’s birthday with PAC-MAY, a month-long initiative with exciting PAC-MAN announcements and activations. The PAC-MAY celebration uses the theme “Connect the Dots,” with the aim of bridging the past and present of the PAC-MAN series leading up to PAC-MAN Day on May 22.
Firstly, the PAC-MAY celebration begins with a teaser trailer for PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks, a new animated short series in partnership with New York-based studio Cartuna. PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks will premiere on May 22 on the official PAC-MAN YouTube Channel to coincide with PAC-MAN Day. The series follows PAC-MAN as he leaves PAC-Village for NEW PAC-CITY with Team Ghost hot on his trail. The series is directed by Noah Pardo with lead producers Adam Belfer, James Belfer, Monica Mazel, Garrett Beltis, and Ben Bishop. The voice cast includes Mike Cefalo as PAC-MAN and Inky, Mike Bodie as Blinky, Rebecca Wang as Pinky, and Lukas Arnold as Clyde.
The celebration continues with various events across the US for fans of all ages to participate. A birthday event coinciding with the “45 Years of PAC-MAN” exhibition at The Paley Museum in New York City will be held on May 16 with a “PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks” panel and special screenings. This event will also feature a number of different activations, including classic games, PAC-MAN meet and greets, giveaways, and more.
The Paley Museum will host the PAC-MAN CHOMPIONSHIP tournament, where players will compete for the highest score in the classic PAC-MAN arcade game. The player with the highest score takes home the grand prize and the title of “PAC-MAN NYC Chompion 2026.”
PAC-MAY includes a special collaboration event with Fruit Ninja starting May 6 featuring unlockable blades, dojos, and special rewards. PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC can also get a free costume in Nova’s Costume Shop.
