SEGA has announced its latest round of updates and events for Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis in May 2026. The announcements come courtesy of a recent NGS Headline Wave.
As of April 26, players can receive a special Login Bonus, featuring phantastic items like N-Augment Transfer Pass Vouchers and Special Select Tickets. On April 30, an Enhancement Support Campaign will begin for all equipment. Additionally, The Super Origin Festival will enter the second half of the campaign next month with exciting events, Free Scratch Ticket items, and Super Reward Boxes. A special Reward Box will appear in conjunction with the Limited-time Urgent Quests. Those who manage to empty the Reward Box can earn special items like Thankful Tickets and new accessories. Pre-announced Urgent Quests can be completed twice during this period.
From May 5 to May 20, the Great Rappy Suppression Trial will take place in the Altered Battle Line: Tundra Area Gorge of the Alter Realm Exploration: Combat Sectors. Legend.4 Lexio series weapons and 14-star Rarity Evalto Armor will be available in the drops for a limited time. Some of the drops will include items required for upgrading the 14-star Rarity Spradio series weapons and the Skill Rings implemented in April. Limited-Time Tasks will also be added. Completing these Tasks grants players the Origin Festival ’26 SP Scratch Tickets.
Mission Pass NGS Season 56 will begin on May 13. It features stamps and accessories, as well as several valuable items carried over from the previous lineup. Some of these include Personal Shop Use (3 Days) and SG Scratch Ticket Prize Slips. It also features the armor accessories Bloomiart and Bloom Helio from PSO2, the new accessory Sinister Wulfen Mask, and also Draco from PSO2 recreated in NGS-specs as Mag Form/Re-Draco.

- Limited-time Urgent Quest: Planetcrusher Assault D2 – May 5
- Limited-time Quest: Dazzling Chaos Suppression Op ’26 – May 20
- Limited-time Urgent Quest: And the Stars Fell D.2 – May 20
- Limited-time Quest: Drill: Breezy Summer Aelio Defense – May 26
