Netmarble has released a new update for monster-taming action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE featuring the “nine-tailed fox” Mina. Mina inherits the bloodline of a divine maiden serving the “God of Fate,” and she plays an important role in the MONGIL: STAR DIVE universe. She’s highly respected within the beastkin society of the Far East.
Mina is a 5-star fire-attribute Fighter-type character with explosive damage output. Her “Foxfire Orbs” deal fire damage to enemies, and her Ultimate Skill “Foxfire Clone” deals powerful fire damage while summoning a clone that fights alongside her. When paired with characters that deal fire-attribute debuffs, Mina can be a strong character across various pieces of content.
Netmarble is hosting a four-week Mina Summoning Event, and a special event titled “Flame That Takes” is also available with additional story content for the new character. Players can earn event currency through missions and dungeon clears and exchange it for various rewards, including the profile decoration LIVE background for Mina and other growth-support items. The update also brought some quality-of-life improvements, including a Monsterling trait grade filter and an event story skip feature.
MONGIL: STAR DIVE is available now on Android via Google Play, iOS via App Store, and PC via Windows (Netmarble Launcher) and Epic Games Store. Netmarble plans to bring MONGIL: STAR DIVE to consoles, including Xbox platforms and PlayStation 5.
Final Weapon had the opportunity to interview the development team members of MONGIL: STAR DIVE, including Netmarble game publishing director Jung-ho Lee Netmarble Monster project director Min-kyun Kim, and Netmarble Monster production director Dong-jo Lee, during Tokyo Game Show 2025.
