Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that the upcoming Elden Ring film adaptation from A24 will release on March 3, 2028. Additionally, the cast for the film has also been revealed.

- Jonathan Pryce (The Two Popes, The Crown)
- Ruby Cruz (Bottoms)
- Nick Offerman (The Last of Us, Parks and Recreation)
- John Hodgkinson (Dear England, Napoleon, Skyfall)
- Jefferson Hall (House of the Dragon, Oppenheimer, Tenet)
- Emma Laird (28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, A Haunting in Venice)
- Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace)
Alex Garland (Civil War, Ex Machina, Annihilation) is the writer/director of the film. Peter Rice will produce alongside Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich from DNA. Further, both George R. R. Martin himself and Vince Gerardis will also produce, with direct supervision from Bandai Namco Entertainment and From Software. Reportedly, Garland pitched the film to both developers with a 160-page speculative script draft. The movie will be filmed for IMAX formats.
In the future, more adaptations of From Software games will release. This includes a Sekiro anime titled Sekiro: No Defeat, and an animated film interpretation of Bloodborne which Seán McLoughlin, also known as the YouTuber Jacksepticeye, will produce. A24 will also release an adaptation of Death Stranding in the coming years. Lastly, Elden Ring is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The Nintendo Switch 2 Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will release in 2026.
