The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Hypnosis Mic’s Evil Line Records label and Dazed’s Superhuman Shared Residence Story: Charisma project announced the Charisma anime will premiere in January 2027 on TBS. The anime’s main cast, staff, and teaser visual were also revealed alongside a new trailer.
Jōji Furuta directs the anime at Pierrot Films. Original creator Shū Matsubara is in charge of series scripts, and Evil Line Records is in charge of music. Matsubara and Dazed are credited for the original work, and Ebimo is credited for the original character designs. TBS Television is the production manager.
The anime project’s cast includes:
- Katsumi Fukuhara as Iori Motohashi, Charisma of Obedience
- Genki Okawa as Terra, Charisma of Self-love
- Masahiro Yamanaka as Rikai Kusanagi, Charisma of Order
- Kenta Hosoda as Kei Sarukawa, Charisma of Rebellion
- Saku Hyūga as Ohse Minato, Charisma of Internal Punishment
- Tomohisa Hashizume as Amahiko Tendō, Charisma of Sex
- Yūki Ono as Fumiya Itō, Charisma of Good and Evil
Evil Line Records and Dazed launched the Charisma project back in 2021, and it would go on to receive musical releases, live concerts, and even a four-panel manga adaptation. Charisma revolves around 2D characters that embody “charisma,” meaning divinely gifted elemental traits. The members stay in a share house while aspiring for even higher goals.
