Arc System Works have announced that a new DLC playable character will release for Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes in 2026. The identity of the character is currently unknown.
In a new trailer showcased during the ARC WORLD TOUR 2026, the history of Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes and the playable characters added since its launch in 2024 are highlighted. The trailer ends with a mysterious hooded figure with red eyes stating that this character will release in 2026. It is unknown if more characters will release alongside this figure later in the year.
