Studio Khara is now streaming the Evangelion 30th Anniversary Special Screening anime short, which was previously shown at the “Evangelion:30+;” event on February 21. The Evangelion 30th Anniversary Special Screening anime short is 13 minutes long and stars Asuka, who married protagonist Shinji and had a daughter in an alternate reality.
A new Evangelion anime is in development as the “Next Genesis” for the beloved franchise. Yoko Taro, most known for his work on the NieR franchise, is the series script supervisor and scriptwriter. The directors are Kazuya Tsurumaki and Tōko Yatabe, both of whom have worked on the Rebuild of Evangelion films. The music composer will be Keiichi Okabe, who has also worked on the NieR franchise. The studios developing the anime will be Studio Khara (Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX and Rebuild of Evangelion films) and CloverWorks (My Dress Up Darling and SPY X FAMILY).
