The long awaited Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0: Thrice Upon a Time movie premiered on March 8th in Japan. Since then, it shattered box office in just over a month of release in theaters. Box office sales for anime film in Japan surpasses 7.4 billion yen which is roughly $68 million. This was generated by almost 5 million viewers in Japan. The 10 billion yen goal by director Hideaki Anno is in reach!
