Capcom has announced the six finalists of the Mega Man: Dual Override “Robot Master Design Contest” during the March 5 Capcom Spotlight showcase. According to Capcom, there were around 10,000 entries for the Mega Man: Dual Override “Robot Master Design Contest,” out of which only 20 were selected to enter the final round.
The six finalists were chosen based on fan votes out of the 20 designs that made it to the final round. From here, the development team will select one winner to be featured in the actual release version of Mega Man: Dual Override. More details about the game, and the winning design, will be revealed at a later date.

Capcom recently gave fans the chance to help create one of the bosses who will appear in the long-awaited next mainline entry in the classic Mega Man series. Starting from nearly 10,000 submissions, 20 contenders emerged, and Today producer Hiroyuki Minamitani unveiled the top six designs selected based on fans’ votes. Now, the development team must choose one winner, who the Blue Bomber will face when the final game lands in 2027 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Capcom initially announced Mega Man: Dual Override, the next entry in the long-running Mega Man action platformer series, at The Game Awards 2025.
