Capcom has announced Mega Man: Dual Override, the next entry in the long-running Mega Man action platformer series. Mega Man: Dual Override launches in 2027 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Capcom has released the 2025 edition of its annual integrated report, confirming some plans about the company’s development projects and long-term goals. In the report, Capcom COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto confirmed that Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney are key IPs that will “expand” with new releases, remakes, and ports to new hardware—likely alluding to Nintendo Switch 2, for example. Capcom wants to grow these series, including Devil May Cry, into “core IPs” like Street Fighter and Monster Hunter.

The Game Awards 2025 marks the 11th year of the annual show, run and hosted by Geoff Keighley. This year, the nominees were led by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33Hades 2, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, and Hollow Knight: Silksong.
