During The Game Awards 2025, a new trailer for SAROS was shown. Starting Rahul Kohli, the latest game from developer Housemarque is a third-person shooter with roguelike elements. Initially announced in the State of Play from February this year, SAROS is now set to release on April 30, 2026. Check out the new trailer below:

SAROS is the latest from Housemarque, best known for games like Resogun, Nex Machina, and Returnal. It is set to release for PlayStation 5 and will be playable 48 hours early for those who preorder the digital deluxe version.

The PlayStation Store describes it as follows:

SAROS is the next game from Housemarque, the makers of the critically acclaimed Returnal.

SAROS is the ultimate evolution of developer Housemarque’s trademark ‘gameplay first’ experience.

Building on the studio’s expertise in explosive action and mysterious storytelling, SAROS is a new adventure set on the lost off-world colony of Carcosa during an ominous eclipse.

You play as Arjun Devraj, performed by Rahul Kohli (Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher), a powerful Soltari Enforcer who will stop at nothing to find who he is looking for. After each death you’ll face a changed world – but you can permanently upgrade and customise your loadout, enabling Arjun to come back stronger every time.

The Game Awards 2025 marks the 11th year of the annual show, run and hosted by Geoff Keighley. This year, the nominees were led by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33Hades 2, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, and Hollow Knight: Silksong.
