Netflix has released a new “Sneak Peek” trailer for Devil May Cry Season 2 ahead of the season’s premiere on May 12. The Devil May Cry Season 2 trailer highlights Dante with his signature Ebony and Ivory handguns.
While waiting for the second season, fans can listen to the official Devil May Cry Season 1 soundtrack. The soundtrack features the previously released “Afterlife” track by Evanescence, along with hits from the 2000s and a “redacted” track by Green Day.
The Devil May Cry animated series premiered on April 3, 2025 on Netflix. Limp Bizkit’s “Rollin'” is the opening theme song. Studio Mir and Adi Shankar produced the eight-episode first season, and the series will have multiple seasons.
The Japanese cast for the Devil May Cry anime includes Toshiyuki Morikawa as Dante, Fumiko Orikasa as Lady, and Hiroaki Hirata as Vergil. The English cast is as follows:

Previously, Capcom released the 2025 edition of its annual integrated report, confirming some plans about the company’s development projects and long-term goals. In the report, Capcom COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto confirmed that Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney are key IPs that will “expand” with new releases, remakes, and ports to new hardware—likely alluding to Nintendo Switch 2, for example. Capcom wants to grow these series, including Devil May Cry, into “core IPs” like Street Fighter and Monster Hunter.
Lastly, Devil May Cry 5 is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
