Clear River Games has announced that Kyukyoku TigerHeli – Toaplan Arcade Garage will release in Europe on February 26. It will be available on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
The game highlights the two seminal “Tiger” games from Toaplan: Kyukyoku Tiger / Twin Cobra (1987) and Tiger-Heli (1985). You can also purchase the Kyukyoku TigerHeli – Console Ports + Get Star Pack DLC, which features PC Engine, FC, NES and Mega Drive console ports of Tiger-Heli and Kyukyoku Tiger. It also includes the NES and Genesis versions of Twin Cobra.
Further, it will have the rare 1986 Toaplan arcade beat em’ up Get Star (known as Guardian in the West). The DLC will be included as part of the upcoming physical edition, which currently doesn’t have a release date. Teki-Paki, another puzzle game from TOAPLAN, will also be available as a downloadable free bonus with every purchase of the base game. The seed of its core mechanics can be seen in its predecessor Tiger-Heli (1985), which is also present in this collection.
