Digital Extremes has released a new update for the closed alpha of Soulframe, titled “Preludes 13: A Triquetra of Virtues.” The update adds several major changes to the overall game.
The main additions include a complete rework to the Virtue system, which adds more options for different builds. The new rework further highlights the three main player stats: Courage, Spirit, and Grace. There are also new ways to customize your envoy with new hair, face, and weapon options. Further, you can now seek out a new mission type, called The Organ: Medis Gyon. The last major addition in “A Triquetra of Virtues” is a new boss fight, Bromius Omen Beast, alongside several other quality-of-life improvements.

The official Soulframe website describes the game:
Washed ashore on the northern isle of Midrath, a new adventure begins.
Omen beasts in Ode’n chain bellow in mourning. The voicing trees sag ‘long tortured streams. The worldflesh of Alca splits with rage.
Who will find the Silvern Seas and awaken our Ancestors? Who will learn the melodies of soul unbinding, and break the gaunting spellsong? Who will hold in their heart the wanderers, the wild, the world? You will, Envoy.
While Soulframe is still listed for a 2025 release date, community manager Sarah Asselin stated that the release window is an “aspirational goal.” Additionally, while Digital Extremes’ have not yet confirmed the game’s consoles, it will likely be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC, similarly to Warframe.
