The Xbox 360 version of Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD has been delisted from the Microsoft Store, as spotted by Wario64 on X (formerly Twitter). Players who already own the game may redownload it on their Microsoft account and play it via backwards compatibility on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD was likely delisted in preparation for the release of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, which includes the game with updated resolution and frame rates for modern platforms. Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 launches on August 27 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 includes Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition, and Metal Gear: Ghost Babel together into one package for players to experience. This is a major re-release for fans, as it’s the first time Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be available on modern platforms following its initial launch on PlayStation 3.
