Netmarble has released a new update for Solo Leveling: ARISE, which adds a new SSR Hunter to the game: Mari Laine. The update also features new story additions, new dungeons, and more.
Mari Laine is described as a “Stacker SSR water-type,” who “specializes in high-speed slashing attacks and sustained damage. When unleashing her Ultimate Skill ‘Frozen Drive,’ Meri spins her ice saw’s blade at extremely high speed that summons a blizzard cutting down enemies with devastating force.” Alongside Mari Laine, the update includes the addition of Chapter 30 and 31 to the game’s story. Sung Jinwoo receives a new Job Change to “Monarch of Shadow: Savior,” plus he can access a new skill. His maximum level has also gone up from Lv. 130 to 140.
Further, the latest update for ARISE also features a new Workshop of Brilliant Light dungeon called “Arena of Madness.” Here, players can face the boss fight, Rockpasa, the Monarch of Steel. Alongside his addition, a new Remnant Power called “Rockpasa,” is available to access and utilize. There are also multiple romantic-themed events that are now underway.
Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is available now for PC via Microsoft Store and Steam, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2026. Final Weapon reviewed Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE and gave it a 4/5 score, noting that the game has “many improvements across the board, including major gameplay tweaks and additions, a more immersive story mode structure, and the removal of gacha mechanics.”
