Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced Gets “CONNECT iX” Update

Inti Creates has announced the “Azure Striker Gunvolt CONNECT iX” update is now available for Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced. The update adds the CONNECT iX mode for Azure Striker Gunvolt 3, allowing players to play as Copen from Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2. 

In CONNECT iX, Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 players control Copen as he speeds through five stages and bosses and attempts to get the highest score in the shortest time. Alongside his companion Lola, Copen has a variety of abilities, including Bullit Dash, and seven EX Weapons.

Overdrive mode is also present, and Lola will transform and support Copen through her songs. With enough Kudos, Lola may “transform into something new. Further, credits dropped by enemies can activate Lola’s Healing skill. With these tools at the player’s disposal, it’s up to them to get the fastest clear times possible.

The new update also fixes an issue where playing Azure Striker Gunvolt or Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 with keyboard controls displayed some gamepad prompts instead of keyboard keys.

Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced launched on July 24, 2025 worldwide as a complete collection featuring Azure Striker Gunvolt 1 through 3 with all available DLC for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The updated collection includes polished gameplay and adjustments, updated and improved music, and additional content that wasn’t present in the original release. For example, previously separate items, including voice drams, are now included in-game via the new Library Mode.
