Bandai Namco has announced that DLC 2 for SUPER ROBOT WARS Y will release for early access owners on February 3, and for everyone else on February 5. Additionally, version 1.2.0 will release as a free update on February 2.
The contents of the free update are as follows:
- “Special Mission: Battle Rush 2”
- Various Status Cap Unlock
- DLC 2: Area Mission 1 “Omen”
- Expanded STG Memory
- Other stability improvements
Additionally, DLC 2, titled “Awakening of a Soul,” features 5 new playable units, 16 new area missions, 10 new onboard missions, and 1 new assist crew member based on the following:
- KotetsuJeeg
- Dynamic Planning Original (Getter Robo: The Jet-Black Drifters)
- Brave of the Legend Da-Garn

SUPER ROBOT WARS Y launched on August 28 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. A demo is available now with save data transfers, including character creation data and items.
