During The Game Awards 2025, Capcom announced Mega Man: Dual Overdrive, the next entry in the long-running Mega Man action platformer series. Mega Man: Dual Overdrive launches in 2027 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Recently, the company also released the 2025 edition of its annual integrated report, confirming some plans about the company’s development projects and long-term goals. In the report, Capcom COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto confirmed that Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney are key IPs that will “expand” with new releases, remakes, and ports to new hardware—likely alluding to Nintendo Switch 2, for example. Capcom wants to grow these series, including Devil May Cry, into “core IPs” like Street Fighter and Monster Hunter.

Lastly, the next entry in the Mega Man collection series, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, will launch on March 27, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are now live.
