Good Smile Company has teased several franchises that will be receiving Nendoroid figures at the February 5 Nendoroid Funs showcase, including Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter and Persona for its 30th anniversary. The Nendoroid Funs showcase will also reveal new figures for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba-, Overlord, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, hololive, and much more.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary, SEGA and ATLUS recently released new illustrations of the Persona franchise’s protagonists. The new Persona 30th anniversary protagonist illustrations were done by longtime character designer Shigenori Soejima. Additional artwork can be found on the Persona 30th anniversary website.
Previously, Persona series producer and chief director Kazuhisa Wada teased that ATLUS is preparing for the franchise’s 30th anniversary in 2026. Wada believes there will be opportunities in 2026 to talk about future developments for the Persona series. Specifically, Wada noted that 2026 will be “a good time to share news about new games,” including the previously announced Persona 4 Revival.
Currently, the Persona team’s only confirmed upcoming title is Persona 4 Revival, a remake of 2008’s critically acclaimed Persona 4. SEGA expects Persona 4 Revival to release after April 1, 2026 on PlayStation 5 via PlayStation Store, Xbox Series X|S via Microsoft Store, and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. Persona 4 Revival is available to wishlist now, and the remake will be available on Xbox Game Pass day one.
Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, the sequel to Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, is coming to Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in fall 2026. Players can transfer their save data from Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter to receive bonuses in Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter.
