SuperGroupies has revealed a new collection of merchandise based on The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy. Pre-orders for the three pieces of merch will be available at SuperGroupies until February 1.

Two jackets will release, one of which is titled the Eito Aotsuki Model Jacket, while the other is the Eito Aotsuki Motif Jacket (Black ver.). Both will be available for $289.99. Additionally, there’s the Takumi Sumino Model Crossbody Bag, for $219.99.

Recently, creator Kazutaka Kodaka revealed in a recent interview at RPG Site that they are considering a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy. He didn’t outright confirm the release of The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, but Kodaka and the team appear to be thinking about it, at least.

Here’s the exact excerpt from the interview:

RPG Site: It made sense to prioritize Switch and Steam for this one. Are there any plans for a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade like we just saw for Shuten Order? I ask this because the game is a bit rough on Switch compared to PC and it would benefit a lot from faster loading with better visuals and performance on Switch 2.

Kazutaka Kodaka: We’d like to consider that as well.

Previously, XSEED Games and Too Kyo Games released the version 1.1.1 update for The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, which introduced the “Extreme & Despair” difficulty mode, several quality of life improvements, battle balance adjustments, and bug fixes.

Before the game’s launch for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, Final Weapon reviewed The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy and gave it a 4 out of 5 score. Our review praises the RPG’s intriguing cast of characters, easy pick-up and play combat system, and compelling elements reminiscent of Kodaka’s Danganronpa franchise
