Capcom has released a new patch for Mega Man 11, which adds support for two new languages. The languages are Latam Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.

Earlier this year, according to Capcom’s recent Platinum Titles has revealed that Mega Man 11 is now the highest selling game in the franchise. Specifically, the game has sold over 2 million copies, surpassing the previous holders of the accolade: Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man 2. Mega Man 11 released in 2018 and is the latest entry in the franchise.

However, Capcom recently announced the next entry in the series, titled Mega Man: Dual Overdrives. The game will launch in 2027 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The announcement follows the release of the 2025 edition of Capcom’s annual integrated report, confirming some plans about the company’s development projects and long-term goals.

In the report, Capcom COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto confirmed that Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney are key IPs that will “expand” with new releases, remakes, and ports to new hardware—likely alluding to Nintendo Switch 2, for example. Capcom wants to grow these series, including Devil May Cry, into “core IPs” like Street Fighter and Monster Hunter.

Lastly, Mega Man 11 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game’s Steam page describes it as follows:

Mega Man is back! The newest entry in this iconic series blends classic, challenging 2D platforming action with a fresh look. The stunning new visual style refreshes the series’ iconic colorfulness, combining hand-drawn environments with detailed, 3D character models.
