Shabake Anime Streams New ‘Climax’ Video

The staff of the TV anime adaptation for Megumi Hatakenaka’s Shabake historical fantasy novel series released a new “climax” promotional video. The video previews the final three episodes of the anime ahead of the inevitable Blu-ray Disc release of Shabake.

Kujira performs the opening theme song “Inochi no Parade (Parade of Life).” KAFUNÉ performs “Myaku-Myaku (Continuous).”

The anime’s cast members include:

Takahiro Ōkawa directs the new anime series at BN Pictures. Tōko Machida oversees the series scripts. Akari Minagawa is the character designer and the chief animation director alongside Yuka Shiga. Rei Ishizuka is the music composer for the anime.

Shabake is streaming on Crunchyroll in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS and Indian subcontinent. In Japan, Shabake is airing on Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block and AT-X, and various streaming services will air the anime, including Prime Video.

Megumi Hatakenaka’s first novel for the Shabake series released in 2001, and various sequel novels released in the many years that followed. The series would inspire two live-action TV series, manga, radio plays, stage plays, stage musicals, picture books, and a net anime adaptation.
