INDIE Live Expo 2025 Reveals New Games and BitSummit Partnership

The November 29 INDIE Live Expo 2025 showcase highlighted more than 100 games from indie developers in Japan and abroad with new reveals, trailers, and content updates. Previously announced titles were also featured prominently, including the long-awaited 213 Fahrenheit’s hack-and-slash roguelike TSURUGIHIME and Alliance Arts and WHO YOU’s Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis.

INDIE Live Expo 2025 brought the reveal of 2D scrolling adventure Avemary Rocket – Captain Patchwork – by Shuhei Miyazawa (Raindrop Sprinters), Studio Pixel (Cave Story+), and room6, along with ALL ADRIFT, a new illustrative adventure game by Korean developer Vittgen. CRITICAL REFLEX and Ichthys also confirmed a playtest for upcoming Metroidvania game Being and Becoming will be held this December on Steam.

During the showcase, Pixelated Milk announced a January 2026 playtest for its supernatural pixel art JRPG SacriFire, and Wild Dog revealed excavation simulator Keep Digging’s Version 2.0 content update is coming this winter. Pajama Llama Games’ aquatic colony sim Flotsam exits early access on Steam on December 4, and Pugstorm’s mining sandbox adventure Core Keeper is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on Wednesday, Jan. 28th, 2026.

TSURUGIHIME will enter Steam Early Access in 2026, and Katanalevy’s psychological horror game Dead Format launches December 10 on Steam. Neowiz and WONDERPOTION are bringing the free SANABI: A Haunted Day DLC to Nintendo Switch this winter, and PARCO GAMES and RexLabo revealed a teaser trailer for an unrevealed game coming in 2026.

Publisher 2P Games also revealed trailers and updates for Atomstring Games’ 3D metroidvania Kotama and Academy Citadel, WarmCore Studio’s top-down looter shooter R.I.P. – Reincarnation Insurance Program, Bone Nail’s magical farming sim The Piper of Dawn, and ZerocreationGame’s The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City’s Fall. These games are expected to be released through 2026.

Further, Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis is finally launching in April 2026, and Neotro and MAGI’s child-rearing simulator Magical Princess now has a free demo on Steam.

The INDIE Live Expo 2025 awards show also honored the following games: Sultan’s Game, The NOexistenceN of you AND me, No, I’m not a Human, Promise Mascot Agency, Word Game, Escape From Duckov, Demonic Mahjong, BALL x PIT, and Öoo.

A new partnership between INDIE Live Expo and BitSummit was announced, and more details will be revealed at a later date. In the meantime, fans can get hands-on with various games at a discount during the INDIE Live Expo Steam sale until December 6.
