2025’s 52nd issue of Shueisha’s Young Jump magazine confirmed that SCRAP, Shueisha Games, and Aka Akasaka’s new Kami and Miko browser game is getting a new one-shot manga. The Kami and Miko manga will debut in magazine’s next issue on December 4 with illustrations by Rei Narahashi.
In Kami and Miko, player experience a “world creation puzzle-solving” game where players become “Kami” and solve mysteries with Miko, who has been reincarnated through the ages. Together, they save humanity from hunger, epidemics, and other threats. Oshi no Ko and Kaguya-sama: Love is War creator Aka Akasaka as the game’s scenario and character designer.
The final volume of the Oshi no Ko manga series by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari released on December 18, 2024 in Japan. The final chapter of Oshi no Ko, chapter 166, released in the November 14, 2024-due issue of Weekly Young Jump magazine. All chapters are available to read right now on Manga Plus in English.
Oshi no Ko Season 3 premieres on January 14, 2026. The cast of the first two seasons, including Takeo Otsuka as Aqua, returns in the third season. New cast members include Mamoru Miyano as Hikaru Kamiki, Hina Kino as Tsukuyomi, Yuto Takenaka as Shun Yoshizumi and Yōji Ueda as Tetsu Urushibara.
