SNK and Netmarble have released a new update for THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK featuring Goenitz and Orochi, two powerful members of the Orochi Clan, as playable fighters. Goenitz is one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi who controls the power of wind and works toward Orochi’s resurrection. Orochi, the reigning head of the clan, is a supernatural being harnessing the power of darkness.
THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK players can recruit Goenitz from the Goenitz Pick-Up Event until December 10, and Orochi can be summoned through the Premium Summon. Additionally, the [Rush] Synergy Fighter Summon Event is available with a higher chance of acquiring fighters of the same [Rush] Synergy.
Several seasonal events will run from November 27 to December 3 to celebrate Black Friday. Players can receive up to 500,000 Rubies by logging in, and a special Ruby refund event will return Rubies based on purchases made since the game’s launch. The Black Friday Special Power-Up Event is also available with in-game missions and Premium Points that can be used at Premium Summon. There are also special discounts on in-game items.
What’s more, the Lucky Elpy Event will be running from December 1 to December 4, giving players a chance to recruit new Legendary supporter Kim Dong Hwan. A 100th-day anniversary special celebration event will run from December 4 to December 17 with two new Legendary pets: Goenitchu and Ari-versary.
