Netmarble has launched a new in-game update for Solo Leveling: ARISE featuring SSR hunter Laura Walker, the personal secretary to Guild Master Thomas Andre. Laura is a Light-element Mage hunter that specializes in whip-based combat with business-themed skills.
Alongside Laura Walker, the latest Solo Leveling: ARISE adds a Hard difficulty mode to the [Workshop of Brilliant Light] Puppeteer’s Theater, along with additional rewards with a First Clear Event. Laura Walker and Goto Ryuji get new costumes, and a new Job Change costume was introduced for Sung Jinwoo, along with a weapon skin for Ennio’s Roar. Hidden Chapters were also added to the Main Story (Normal / Reverse Normal Modes), and Expert Mode Chapters 16–18 are now available.
Other additions include Jinwoo’s new Job Change to the “Monarch of Shadows: Unbreakable,” a max level increase for Jinwoo from 120 to 130, and the new Shadow, Uros. The “Winter Begins!” event series is now live with additional rewards up for grabs through various in-game activities.
Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE launches November 24 for PC via Microsoft Store and Steam, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2026. Pre-orders for Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE Deluxe Edition are available now, featuring early access (starting November 21) and the Deluxe Upgrade Bundle, which includes a Sung Jinwoo-exclusive costume, profile card, facial accessory and hairstyle, and a new pet.
Final Weapon reviewed Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE and gave it a 4/5 score, noting that the game has “many improvements across the board, including major gameplay tweaks and additions, a more immersive story mode structure, and the removal of gacha mechanics.”
