Koei Tecmo and Omega Force announced the “Visions of Four Heroes” DLC expansion for Dynasty Warriors: Origins launches on January 22, 2026. Dynasty Warriors: Origins Visions of Four Heroes adds new stories featuring the titular heroes, along with new allies, weapons, and much more.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Dynasty Warriors: Origins runs at a stable 30 FPS, according to producer Tomohiko Sho. Dynasty Warriors: Origins could have reached 60 FPS on Switch 2, but it would have required a reduction of the number of overall soldiers on screen to “the same amount as prior Warriors series entries,” so the team opted for a stable 30 FPS instead.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Dynasty Warriors: Origins and all-new DLC will launch January 22, 2026. Warriors: Abyss is getting new paid Dynasty Warriors: Origins collaboration DLC, but a release date for the new DLC was not confirmed yet. Warriors: Abyss is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
