Nintendo published its earnings release for the second quarter of fiscal year ending on March 31, 2026, confirming that Nintendo Switch 2 exceeded 10 million units in global sell-through as of September 30, 2025. Numerous sales updates on Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and more titles were also revealed.
Roughly 4.54 million Switch 2 units were sold from July 1 to September 30, 2025, resulting in a total of 10.36 million units sold. In the same quarter, 11.95 million Switch 2 software units were sold.
Additionally, Nintendo confirmed that Mario Kart World reached 9.57 million units sold for the over 10 million Nintendo Switch 2 units sold thus far. This means the game had an attach rate of nearly 93% for all Nintendo Switch 2 units sold in the first four months of launch.
