HoYoverse announced Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7 “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday” will launch on November 5, serving as the climatic finale chapter and update of the
Amphoreous saga. Cyrene joins as a new playable character in the upcoming update, and there will be new powerful enemies and rewarding limited-time events.
In Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7, Cyrene opens up to the Trailblazer about her past, and she joins as a 5-star Ice-Type character on the Path of the Remembrance. When she is on the team, the DMG dealt by all allies is increased. Cyrene’s Skill deploys a Zone that triggers an additional instance of True DMG when damage is dealt, and every action a teammate takes adds a stack of “Recollection” for Cyrene. When “Recollection” is fully stacked, Cyrene can activate her Ultimate, and when its used for the first time in battle, it instantly activates the Ultimates of all teammates and make her Zone permanent. She also summons Cyrene in her memosprite form, which can enhance teammates. If the target is a Chrysos Heir
character, they will be granted an exclusive special effect. What’s more, memosprite
Cyrene can either buff teammates or deal damage to all enemies when she takes action.
What’s more, the large-scale permanent gameplay mode, “Currency Wars,” will make its debut. In this mode, players can form teams of up to ten characters in “on-field” and “off-field” areas that work together in combat. Characters of the same combat type or faction can trigger special “Bond” effects. At launch, there will be 61 participating characters, which will be available for free trial. Since its a permanent mode, players can expect challenge rewards and regular updates.
The new event, “Snack Dash,” will also be available. Madam Ruan Mei’s “delightful creations” will race across tracks and aim for victories in order to climb the rankings. The update will also introduce the “Trailblaze Fashion” system, and players can earn the limited headwear “Deliverer’s Wreath” for free after completing the version’s Main Missions.
HoYoverse is also collaborating with Crunchyroll to host the HoYoFair special fan event, “Chimerric Park.” This special program will premiere on Crunchyroll in early November. Viewers who tune-in to the event and complete designated tasks will have the chance to win a 2-week Crunchyroll Mega Fan membership.
Lastly, Honkai: Star Rail is available now for Android via Google Play Store, iOS via App Store, PlayStation 5, and PC via Epic Games Store.
