NetEase has announced that a new PvE mode, centered around the “Marvel Zombies,” will be available in Marvel Rivals on October 23. The first trailer for the mode has also released.
Marvel Rivals is teaming up with the Marvel Animation team to make the upcoming mode. You will be able to play as either Thor, Blade, Magik, Jeff the Land Shark, and Punisher to fight both Zombie Namor and Scarlet Witch, the Queen of the Dead, in boss battles. The mode comes a few weeks after the release of the Marvel Zombies animated series on Disney Plus, which features members of the Marvel Universe taking on their zombified allies.

Recently, Season 4.5 released on October 10 and added Daredevil as a playable character. It also featured new team-up attacks with Namor and Hela and Daredevil and Punisher, as well as a new mode, according to the latest dev vision from NetEase. Aleks Le will voice the iconic vigilante. Season 4 initially released on September 12, alongside a PlayStation 4 version of the game. The season also added Angela, a warrior from Heaven and the sister of Thor and Loki.
Lastly, Marvel Rivals is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game is also available on PlayStation 4. The developers are open to releasing a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Marvel Rivals at a later date. The “Marvel Zombies” PvE mode for Marvel Rivals will release on October 23, with a full trailer set to launch in the next few days.
